Barbara BarryOne of the most widely-published women in America’s design community, Barbara Barry is among the world's most prominent and talented designers. Her ability to create beautiful, subtle living environments has earned the praise of her peers and the press, making her name and look part of the popular dialogue. In 2000, Barry was inducted into Interior Design magazine's Hall of Fame.
Barry's collaboration with Tufenkian began in the mid-1990s. Inspired by the distinct textures and striated colors of Tufenkian's handmade carpets, she created an essentially spare collection rooted in quiet geometry. In addition to her Designers' Reserve contributions, Barbara Barry has designed Variations, a collection of rugs that captures the grace of the fluid line.
