Carlton Teabout – Showroom/Sales Manager
Carlton brings a strong sense of style and integrity to Tufenkian. He has a degree in interior design and has sold Tufenkian Carpets almost twenty years. His expert knowledge of handmade rugs and creative background makes him an excellent consultant to designers interested in selecting and customizing Tufenkian creations. He has a strong vision of Tufenkian's contribution to the world's social, economical and environmental consciousness and is enthusiastic in helping that vision to unfold. Carlton's ongoing client list includes Christine Killian, Kirk Nix Associates, Marnell Corrao, William Hefner, and Wilson and Associates.
Greg Duncan - Outside Sales Representative
Greg has been a professional sales representative in the interior design industry for 28 years. For over two decades, he was Account Manager for F. Schumacher and Company, one of the leading fabric design houses in the industry. Since joining Tufenkian, he has focused on residential and hospitality/contract interior design, covering Orange County, San Diego County, the Inland Empire, Palm Desert, Las Vegas and Hawaii.Greg's experience and talent secured prestigious placements with leading designers responsible for major resort projects, including Pelican Hill Villas, Newport Coast, numerous Las Vegas hotels and high-end residential properties throughout the world.
Mariah Shaw- Inside Sales
After five years working with one of our respected local dealers, Mariah Shaw joins Tufenkian’s LA team armed with extensive knowledge of handcrafted rugs. Mariah brings a dynamic presence and a keen sense of Interior style to our Los Angeles Showroom. She has a passion for the innovative design and craftsmanship of Tufenkian carpets as well as building long-term relationships within the design community. Previously, Mariah spent ten years in hospitality management with such esteemed companies as The Patina Group and Saddle Peak Lodge, where client relations and customer service was key. Mariah is in alignment with Tufenkian’s philosophy of social responsibility and environmental consciousness.
Ivy L. Garfield - Archive Showroom
Ivy has over twenty year's business management experience with home design retail/wholesale/manufacturing companies including Lux Lighting-Portland, The Goltz Group and Tech Lighting, both located in Chicago. From marketing, sales & service to HR, finance and purchasing, Ivy has worn a variety of hats working with dynamic entrepreneurs. Tufenkian's philanthropic efforts and professional staff made the move to LA irresistible. Ivy graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor's degree in business and communication studies.
Bryan Pernot – Operations Manager
Bryan has been with Tufenkian LA for three years. After spending time in sales support learning about all things, “Tufenkian,” Bryan has taken on the role of Operations Manager. From inventory control for the Tufenkian Showroom and Archive Center to facilities management, Bryan is keeping busy. Don’t worry though, if Bryan assisted you with product selection or custom design in the past, and you can’t imagine working with anyone else, he is still available for customer assistance.
Christopher Warner – Shipping & Receiving
Chris Warner joined the Tufenkian group February 2008. Chris assisted with past semi-annual sales and we were so pleased with his efforts, we recruited him from a local business chain where he spent the past two years as Receiving Manager. His determination and strong work ethic is apparent. Chris enjoys the customer interaction on the front end and brings new insight to the critical job done behind the scenes to keep us running smoothly.
